Who we are
JP has worked in the food industry for over 20 years. He started in a humble kitchen in a small town near St. Louis, then moved on to upscale restaurants in Chicago where he learned to hone his skills and discovered his love for Basque style cuisine. After 8 years in Chicago he moved out to California to help open a restaurant in Santa Cruz where he met his wife, Michelle. After getting married, they moved to Michelle's home island - Kaua'i, and now have two little boys. During the last few years he has taken a break from working in restaurants, allowing for more time to spend with his family and explore personal cheffing. His appreciation for detail and consistency is unmatched. He loves helping people discover what good food tastes like.
